nanoblading by skins
SKINS was born out of a personal need for good brows. Being blonde and "eyebrow-less", SKINS' owner, Saskia, had been searching for a semi-permanent option that suited her “natural is best but can be enhanced” ethos.
Once trained, Saskia didn't look back, developing her own approach and having fantastic success in Brazil. Now back in her birthland, Saskia is in popular demand in London, Kent and East Sussex.
SKINS' repertoire has quickly grown, performing beautifully natural Lip Blushing work, and also Areola Reconstruction and Lash Enhancement Eyeliner.
The techniques used at SKINS are the most natural in the world. Excellent, market leading, high quality materials, plus a real understanding and respect for natural beauty and one's natural anatomy make SKINS confident in producing incredible results.

NANOBLADING
NanoBlading differs to the more traditional MicroBlading and here's why.
Using finer blades, and organic pigments, SKINS have developed a
completly natural and realistic looking approach to blading brows.
SKINS reads brows.
Each brow is different, each brow with its own personality.
We do not replicate brows, we do not reproduce standarized beauty.

LIP BLUSHING
Lip Blushing came to save the day. No need for constant reapplying of lip tints, sticks or balms anymore.
SKINS has developed an especially natural (of course!) approach to semi-permanent lip pigmentation, by not defining the borders and assuring a super transulcent finish.
Heavy, and over saturated, semi-permanent make up techniques have given lip tattooing a bad name but SKINS is here to prove that with Lip Blushing we can achieve beautifully delicate and natural results.

Top ups can be perfomed 45-60 days after treatment.
NEUTRALIZATION
For those who have dark or stained lips, and want to add red or pink tones, you must go through a process called "neutralization". This technique simply prepares the lips by making them even in tone. We use specific colour to "hide" the darker areas making the colour of the lips even and appropriate for applying pink/red tones. If you do not neutralize first your finished result will be blotchy or odd coloured.
Neutralization takes 2 or more sessions depending on original lip colour and desired end result. The price is charged the same as Blushing and each session afterwards is charged the same as the top ups.

AREOLA RECONSTRUCTION
SKINS embarked on this part of their semi-permanent make-up career as soon as they had the machine skills to be able to do so.
Areola Reconstruction is for those who have lost one or both breasts due to cancer and would like to construct an areola in the place of their previous ones.
We use machine tecniques, along with artistic awareness of shadow and light, and excellent grade pigments to naturally and gently create a realistic, replica areola.
As this is a new treatment in the studio, SKINS is offering these treatments at "model" prices. In the future, these treatments will be priced on a sliding scale for those that are having difficulty financially.
This treatment came about at SKINS due to a strong desire to use their art to do something to genuinley help people.
